Meet the U.S. DOT Cargo Security Awareness Training Mandate

Cargo security awareness training is required for all hazmat employees under HM-232 within 90 days of employment (49 CFR 172.704). This live web seminar will teach hazmat employees about the security issues associated with transporting hazardous materials as well as steps that they can take to improve transportation security.

Who Should Attend:

This course is designed for all employees who perform functions that directly affect the safety of hazardous materials transportation. These individuals typically work with or for a hazmat manager who has received full training and certification.

DOT also requires general awareness, function-specific, security plan, and safety training (online, on the job, or in a classroom).
