Web Seminar Hazardous Materials Transportation Certification (HMT P30)
49 CFR Hazmat Training

Hazmat Transportation Certification

Hazardous materials training is required for all “hazmat employees” under the U.S. DOT hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR Part 172, Subpart H).  Hazmat training is required within 90-days for new employees; it must be repeated every three years and periodically as rules change. (See Hazmat Training FAQs). Civil penalties are now up to $50,000 per day, per violation.

This certification workshop provides comprehensive DOT training for those responsible for shipping hazardous materials. Using Lion's Ten Steps™ for hazardous materials transportation as your foundation, you will learn a systematic approach for applying the rules to your materials as well as all the new and pending hazmat rules. Expert instructors, engaging lecture, hands-on exercises, plus lively Q&A sessions ensure you know what you must do when you get back to the office.

Registration includes 365 days of complete follow- up support, Hazardous Materials Transportation Compliance Reference Set, plus the FREE Hazmat Classification online training course.
