Delaware Adopts New Hazardous Waste Regulations

Effective January 21, 2021, Delaware has adopted the Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule and new RCRA regulations for hazardous waste pharmaceuticals (HWP), aerosol cans, waste airbags, and more.

E-Manifests and 49 CFR: Paper Copies Still Required

One of the benefits of the e-manifest system is that we no longer need physical hard copies of manifests to accompany hazardous waste shipments. But just because EPA is fine with no paper copy, the same is not true for the Department of Transportation (DOT).

EPA Suspends Support Services Amid Shutdown

Starting tonight at 12:00 midnight, US EPA will suspend its support for the new electronic Manifest (e-Manifest) system and the RCRAinfo portal used by hazardous waste generators, transporters, and treatment, storage, and disposal facilities (TSDFs) due to the Federal government shutdown.

E-Manifests Go Live on June 30—Are You Ready?
