Students must have current edition(s) of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations and/or the IMDG Code to successfully complete Lion's Hazmat Air Shipper Certification (IATA) and/or Hazmat Vessel Shipper Certification (IMDG) online courses. Copies will automatically be added to your shopping cart when adding one of these courses, or can be obtained separately at Lion.com/Books.
All Other Courses
Your course includes comprehensive digital resources that are yours to keep. Physical Desk Reference Sets provided at Lion classroom style workshops are available for select web-based courses and will be an invaluable on-the-job resource after your web-based training is complete. Purchasing printed training materials is optional as they are not required to complete the course.
Note: Our digital resources are updated on a regular basis. We recommend using your digital materials during the course, as the training may refer to page numbers, exhibits, or other items that do not exactly match the physical books. We will not provide a refund or exchange for any publication or reference products. Please review this information carefully before you make a purchase.

Students have 90 days to complete their online training from the date of enrollment and will receive periodic email reminders throughout the 90 days.
A final reminder will be sent 5 days from expiration of the initial 90 days. At this time, students may redeem a one-time 30-day extension (must be redeemed within 120 days of enrollment).
Additional ExtensionStudents that have not completed their coursework after the initial 90 days and 30-day extension can apply for a final 60-day extension. This extension must be redeemed within 180 days of initial purchase and is subject to a $50 reinstatement fee (per student/per course). Payment can be made online via credit card only. Coursework will expire after this final 60 days and no further extensions can be granted.
Important: Finishing Training on Time
To maximize continuity and retention, Lion online courses are designed to be completed within the allowable time frames. Extending course completion may also make you out of compliance with the DOT, EPA, OSHA or other training mandates.
Online courses are non-refundable and non-transferable. For help selecting the course that's right for you, call 888-546-6511 or email info@Lion.com. Refund and Cancellation Policy.
If you need more time to complete your course, see the FAQ regarding extensions above.
This may happen for several reasons:
- If you click a lesson and a new window does not appear, a pop-up blocker may be preventing your training from displaying correctly. Please turn off pop-up blockers in your web browser and on any “Toolbars” built into the browser (e.g., Google Toolbar). If you get a blue screen and you can see the Flash logo in the background of the window, then you probably need to clear your browser's cache.
- If a new window opens but the presentation screen is blank, your employer may be filtering multimedia files with a firewall or corporate security settings. This is especially common for users connected to the Internet remotely through a proxy server or VPN. Check with your IT/IS staff that Flash and MP3 files are allowed from Lion.com.
- If you see a grey exclamation point (!) where your training should appear, your web browser may be operating in a “low memory” environment. Try clearing your browser’s cache to correct this. For help, contact support@Lion.com.
If you’ve finished all lessons and scored 70 or higher on the final Certification Quiz, but cannot access your Certificate of Achievement, try refreshing the browser window (F5 on your keyboard). Still having trouble? Contact support@Lion.com for help.
If you plan to switch locations, please log out of your training and close any open presentations. Running training on more than one computer simultaneously will affect the automatic scoring of your online course.
When using a new computer to access your training, remember to use the Test Computer button to ensure all plug-ins are installed and that pop-ups are allowed from Lion.com.
While these groups typically do not pre-approve training programs that offer certification points, professionals can submit Lion CEUs for approval from their certifying organization.
