5 More EPA Rules Delayed Until May 22
In an executive order issued on January 20, the President of the US directed Federal agencies to delay the effective date of new regulations for sixty days. Sixty days later, US EPA has elected to further delay the implementation date for certain new rules.4/3/2017
DOT Raises Hazmat Civil Penalties for Rail Shippers
The US DOT Federal Rail Administration (FRA) this week raised its civil penalties for violations of the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) for rail shipments to adjust for inflation. In addition to raising the hazmat civil penalties, this Final Rule also raises penalties for non-hazmat related rail safety violations.Find a Post
