Livestream Highlights: 4 Keys to Ship Lithium Batteries

This livestream explored four key concepts that shippers of lithium batteries must understand to ensure compliance with US and international shipping regulations. Topics in this livestream included the difference between a cell and a battery, between lithium-ion vs. lithium-metal,  energy density and Watt hour (Wh) rating, and potential shipping reliefs.



Livestream Highlights: "How to Recycle Aerosol Cans"

During the free 3 Management Strategies for Waste Aerosols livestream, Lion instructor and RCRA subject matter expert Roseanne Bottone gave attendees facts and insights to help select an optimal method to manage, recycle, and or dispose of hazardous waste aerosol cans.

One highlight of this livestream (see the playlist of highlights here) was the discussion of how to recycle aerosol cans, including requirements for puncturing devices and managing potentially hazardous waste contents emptied from the aerosol can.
