Cal DTSC Answers FAQ About Re-organized Haz Waste Regs
California DTSC recently released an FAQ to help hazardous waste generators comply with revised and re-organized regulations that took effect on July 1, 2024.
"FAQ" #1 on the California GIR webpage relates to the re-organization of California's hazardous waste regulations in Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations (22 CCR). To help hazardous waste generators track down key sections of the state hazardous waste regulations that have moved as of July 1, DTSC provides a table that shows the "old" and "new" locations for those rules.
Re-located sections include regulations for counting hazardous waste, management standards for generators, emergency planning procedures, and more.
View the FAQ on DTSC's website.
