EPA’s major overhaul of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) is set to take effect in May 2017. Originally published in November 2016, this Final Rule is not impacted by the recent freeze on new EPA regulations and will take effect as scheduled.1/10/2017

This week in Arlington, VA, US EPA’s Hazardous Waste Electronic Manifest System Advisory Board will meet to discuss and plan for the implementation of the e-Manifest system. The meeting will run for 3 days, from January 10–12, according to EPA’s announcement in the Federal Register last month.12/20/2016
