New Hazmat Retail Rules In Effect Now
On March 31, 2016, the Federal Register published the Reverse Logistics hazmat rule (81 FR 18527). Designed for retailers who return hazmat products to a manufacturer, supplier, or distribution facility, the new rule provides relief from the US DOT hazmat regulations for these return-to-vendor or "reverse logistics" shipments.4/18/2016
