Finder Service
The Lion Finder Service is an exclusive benefit for current Lion Members. Included with any EH&S training, the Finder Service guides you to answers in Lion training manuals and the US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), the Federal Register, and other publicly available legal and regulatory resources.
Get up to one year of ongoing regulatory support when you complete hazmat, hazardous waste/environmental, or safety training with Lion.
Find your course now to take advantage of the Finder Service and other Lion Membership benefits.
How it works:
1. Regulatory Applicability or Structure
Example: If a loading dock worker assists the truck driver in removing drums of hazardous materials from a vehicle, is the loading dock worker subject to any DOT rules?
2. Basic requirements of a particular rule
Example: I understand that EPA has deferred regulation of mixed waste to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. However, do any EPA reporting or recordkeeping requirements apply to mixed wastes?
3. Locating requirements that impact your site
Example: Where are the requirements for hazardous waste training in the Federal and Texas environmental regulations? or Where can I find a copy of EPA's multi-sector General Permit under the Clean Water Act stormwater permitting program?
For example, the Finder Service will not classify your facility's materials or wastes. For more in-depth regulatory projects and questions, please see the Hotline service and Lion's suite of consulting solutions.
