Generator Improvements: EPA Moves RCRA Hazardous Waste Training Standard
Under its Generator Improvements Rule, which is now final and takes effect in May 2017, US EPA is re-organizing certain parts of the requirements for hazardous waste generators in 40 CFR. Among the many, many changes to the hazardous waste generator rules is the relocation of the RCRA training standards.12/13/2016

EPA Proposes to Ban TCE for Certain Uses Under TSCA
US EPA has proposed a rule to “prohibit the manufacture, processing, and distribution in commerce of Trichloroethylene (TCE)” for certain uses. The proposed TCE ban is EPA’s first such action under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) as revised by the Frank R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act.12/6/2016
